  • I  teach on the specialist course Astrophysics: Galaxies and Cosmology, which  is designed for 4th year undergraduate majors.

  • I am Director of Internationalisation within the School of Physics and Astronomy, and I coordinated the Physics with Year Abroad degree programme and research placements from 2019-2023.

  • From 2018-2022, I served as the School's Admissions Advisor, providing guidance to the College Admissions Team and handling intra-School transfers.

  • From 2011-2021, I served as a Personal Tutor in the School of Physics and Astronomy, in which role I oversaw the academic progress and provided pastoral support to over 60 undergraduate students on a variety of physics degrees.

  • I usually supervise several undergraduate research projects (MPhys and Senior Honours) per year and occasionally summer internships. Typical projects involve studies of the structure and stellar content of nearby galaxies, globular star clusters, stellar populations and gaseous nebulae.
